Upcoming Events

>>  July 21-August 11:  21-day “Daniel Fast” – Several students are giving up choice foods like fried foods, meats, carbonated drinks, and sweets.  Instead, they are eating only vegetables, fruits, and whole grains and drinking water or 100% fruit juice.  Other students who are not doing the “Daniel Fast” are giving up things that are important to them for 21 days.  Things like listening to music, sweets, computer, etc.  Please join us as we fast for the upcoming school year – we are praying during this time for God’s blessings, protection, and favor.>> 

>> Wednesday, July 23:  $25 due for Six Flags Trip  

>>  Tuesday, August 5:  Six Flags – all release forms must be completed and turned in.  Leave church at 7am, return at approximately 10pm.

>> Monday, August 4:  Paul Revere Meeting - Come get a scoop on the changes that will be taking place in a couple of weeks.  The meeting will be from 6-7pm in the youth building.

>> Saturday, August 9:  Youth Building “Makeover” Work Project - join us at the youth building as we do some painting and redecorating.  10am – 3pm

>> Wednesday, August 20:  CHAPTER 2 NIGHT – this is the night we kick off the new chapter of RAIN student ministries at 6th Avenue Church of God.  We’ll be implementing new things in our weekly services as well as our overall ministry.  Don’t miss this exciting night of starting a new chapter in our youth ministry!

>> Wednesday, October 22:  Deadline for Kutless, Pillar CONCERT Money – $15

>> Friday, November 7:  Kutless, Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, KJ-52, etc. CONCERT – Knoxville Christian Center 7pm.  We will leave the church at 5pm.  We will arrive back at the church at approximately 11pm.  Must have a completed release form in order to attend.
